This work utilizes a Swedish Graal technique. During this multi-step process, a blank bubble or cup is made, annealed overnight, sandblasted or engraved with a design and enamels are painted into the recessed design. Some of the bubbles are engraved on the interior and exterior surfaces. The graal blank is then reheated to 1100 degrees and picked back up on a blow pipe.
